SOLDNER, DENNIS M. "DENNY," 50, of Palm Harbor, died Saturday (Aug.
26, 2000) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. He was born in New York City and
came here in 1993 from Long Island. He worked as a manager of marketing for NEC
in New York. He was a Marines veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded four
Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He was Catholic
and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Military Order of the Purple
Heart, and the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion Association, USMC. Survivors include
his wife of 28 years, Laura M.; two daughters, Denni M. Soldner, Aventura, and
Tara M. Chesnut, Vista, Calif.; a son, Brian R., Bolingbrook, Ill.; his parents,
Maryann and Alphonse C., and a brother, Robert J., all of Fort Worth; and two
grandchildren. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.
